Fort Dodge First Degree Murder Trial Begins in Mason City

The trial of one of two men accused in the Christmas Day murder of Montreail Dungy in Fort Dodge is underway.

32 year old Lakendrick Mosley’S 1st degree murder trial began on Tuesday in Cerro Gordo County.

Arrest warrants were issued for both Mosley and another man, Darwin Green in March  following an intense investigation by the Fort Dodge Police Department, the DCI and the Webster County Attorney’s Office into the killing of Dungy.

Both men were arrested in Minnesota and transported back to Webster County.

Green faces an Aiding and Abetting Murder in the First Degree charge.

As with all cases, these individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty

in a court of law.
