Fort Dodge Gears Up For 1st Road Test Of The Season At Ames Friday

After a 28-13 win in a rivalry game to open the season, Fort Dodge has now set its sights on their week 2 match up at Ames. The Dodger Defense forced three turnovers, had five sacks and 17 tackles for loss in the win over Mason City. Dodger Coach Nik Moser like the defense pursued the football in the opener.

The Dodgers will have to contend with Ames standout TE Corey Phillips. The 6ft 6 260 pound Senior has offers from Central Florida, Kansas and other schools.

Moser says the focus is on improvement for his team and not the recent success in the series.

The Dodgers travel to take on the Little Cyclones on Friday night. The game will be the last for Dodger Play-By-Play man Rob Jones. You can hear all the action starting with the pregame show at 6:45 PM, with kickoff at 7 PM.
