(Alpha Media- Brooke Bickford) Fort Dodge Senior High students will bring to life the characters made famous in the 1984 movie Footloose during the musical version of Footloose beginning this Thursday night.
According to FDSH junior Mikeal Campbell, who plays the lead role of Ren McCormack, there are 22 main cast members and about 27 students in the chorus.

Campbell was convinced he did not have the part, but said he is very excited he got the opportunity to play Ren. “Basically Ren McCormack is a guy who used to live in Chicago and then his dad leaves so he moves with his mom to a little town called Bomont. In Bomont dancing is banned. He
Basically challenges that idea and makes them change their mind.”

This year marks the 95th year for the FDSH Musical.
You have three chances to catch Footloose. Thursday and Friday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 2:00 pm. All shows will be held at the Fort Dodge Middle ASchool Auditorium.Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and available online at ShowTix4u.com
