Fort Dodge Man Arrested Following Hit and Run Tuesday

A 2 year old child was injured and a man arrested following a hit and run incident Tuesday morning in Fort Dodge.

According to Iowa State Patrol Trooper Paul Gardner Fort Dodge Police were first on the scene of the hit and run that happened on 5th Avenue South.

Trooper Gardner says the boys injuries are not life threatening and the man, 46 year old 

John Limon was arrested and charged with OWI, child endangerment and a host of other traffic violations.

His preliminary hearing will be held at the end of this month.
