Fort Dodge Man Dies From Injuries Sustained In Accident

A  Fort Dodge man has died from injuries he suffered in an accident last week. On July 22nd, 63 year old Rick Collum was riding a bicycle on Kenyon Road in Fort Dodge when he was in a collision with a car. The car was driven by 34 year old Fort Dodge resident Joseph Johnson. Collum was flown to a hospital in Des Moines to be treated for critical injuries. He passed away on Tuesday according to the Iowa State Patrol. The crash is still being investigated as of the time of this report.
