Fort Dodge Police Captain Joining Iowa Central

(Alpha Media – Brooke Bickford) He has been a fixture on the Fort Dodge Police Department for over a decade and now Captain Ryan Gruenberg is moving into a new position at another Fort Dodge institution. Gruenberg will be the new Vice President of Operations at Iowa Central Community College.

He says the position begins July 1st and isn’t sure what his last day on the Fort Dodge Police Department will be but is thinking the end of June.

Gruenberg says in a written statement.
“The journey to Iowa Central is certainly bittersweet,” “While I am stepping away from a career I have truly loved, I am more than excited to see what the future holds as the newest member of the Triton Family.”
Gruenberg speaks of his time with the Fort Dodge Police Department fondly, “I have had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most dedicated and professional police officers in the field today. The Fort Dodge community should be extremely proud of the officers that protect and serve them on a daily basis. They are truly some of the best of the best.”
