Fort Dodge Police Chief Roger Porter recently was a guest on “Devine Intervention” with Mike Devine on KVFD AM 1400. During his appearance he spoke on the “Santa Cops” program that the Fort Dodge Police Dept. is putting on to benefit less fortunate kids in the community. Donations are being collected for that program currently. Here’s Chief Porter on the premise behind the program.

Porter went on to announce the dates that officers will be shopping with kids as December 17th and 18th, he also talked about the growth of the program.

He went on to say one of the best parts of the program is the generosity that the kids helped by the program show toward their families.
