Fort Dodge Police Investigate Property Damage Thursday Following Gunfire

Thursday afternoon, the Webster County Telecommunications Center received a call from a community member wanting to report damage to a residence in the 900 block 3rd Ave N. as a result of gunfire that occurred late Wednesday night.

Officers arrived on scene and located evidence indicating shots had been fired. Officers discovered multiple bullet holes on the front of the residence 915 3rd Ave N as well as numerous spent casings in the area. Investigators were called to the scene to assist with the crime scene.
