Fort Dodge Police Investigate Report of Shots Fired

Police in Fort Dodge are investigating a shooting just after midnight Wednesday.

According to a police report from FDPD Captain Dennis Quinn, multiple calls of shots fired was reported to the Webster County Telecommunications Center in the area of 8th Ave S and S 18th St. 

Officers quickly arrived on scene and determined that the shots had been fired in the

700 block S 19th St. 

Witnesses were located and physical evidence was collected.

No arrests have been made at this time, and anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to contact the Fort Dodge Police.
