Fort Dodge Schools Grab And Go Lunch Program

The Fort Dodge Community School District is offering “Grab And Go” lunches for children 18 and under during the school closure. The lunches will be distributed weekdays from 11:30 AM to 12:20 PM. The distribution locations will be Cooper, Butler, Riverside and Duncombe, at each location there will be a school bus parked near the entrance. People should pull up next to the bus and remain in their vehicle to allow for window delivery. The service is for children 18& under regardless of the school they attend even private schools. Superintendent Dr. Jesse Ulrich said “It was important to us to find a way to continue to provide students meals during the closure,” “We are committed to providing the grab and go meals as a resource for all Fort Dodge families during this unprecedented time of extended school closure.” The child must be present to receive a lunch and the service offered is one lunch per child per day. The district will be providing this service during the duration of the school closure.
