Fort Dodge Softball & Baseball Sweep Hoover, Gaels Softball A Winner Monday

#1 Fort Dodge Softball had a double header sweep at Des Moines- Hoover Monday. Dodgers took game 1 15-0 in 3 innings and took game 2 16-1 in 4. 7 different Dodgers with two or more hits in game 1. Jalen Adams the win in the circle working 3 innings of a perfect game while striking out 6. In game 2 Dodgers led 9-1 after 2 innings. Haley Wills the winning pitcher in game 2 giving up just 1 run, while scattering 4 hits in 4 innings of work. Dodger Softball back in action Tuesday night at Webster City for a 7:30 start.

Dodger Baseball stayed hot as they swept Hoover in a double header as well Monday. Dodgers now are 11-2 in their last 13 games and are 12-5 overall. Dodgers took game 1 8-4 and game 2 5-2. St. Edmond Softball with a road win 8-4 at Iowa falls-Alden. Gaels avenged a home loss earlier in the season with the win Monday. Gaels got 13 hits in the game and scored 4 runs in the 3rd to take a 6-3 lead after 3. Ella Vratny the winning pitcher , she went the distance scattering 6 hits while allowing 4 runs. Kaili Henning 3 for 4 at the plate on the night with a double and 3 RBI’s.
