Fort Dodge Softball Can Punch Ticket To State Tuesday Night

2nd ranked Fort Dodge Softball has an opportunity to punch their ticket to the 2021 State Tournament on Tuesday night. The Dodgers will host Sioux City East at Rogers Park in the 5A Regional Finals at 7 PM.

Fort Dodge had no trouble in the Regional Semifinals, they cruised past Sioux City North 12-0 in 4 innings. The Dodgers have to win five games in the postseason to win State Gold, Monday was the 1st of those five and Tuesday would be the 2nd.

It’s a short turnaround for Fort Dodge with almost zero time to prepare for Sioux City East. However, Dodger Coach Andi Adams says she feels the main issue is her team playing up to their standard.

The game will air on 92.1 FM and here on our website, starting with pregame coverage at 6:50. Rob Jones will have the call of the game.
