The Fort Dodge Dodger Softball team has punched its ticket to the 2019 Iowa State Tournament beginning July 22nd. The Dodgers won the regional title defeating Ankeny 3-0 this past Tuesday night. The Dodgers have been roll the last few weeks winning 16 of their last 17 and 10 consecutive. Freshman Pitcher Jalen Adams has now went 14 straight innings in the playoffs without allowing a run and has back to back complete game shutouts. Dodger Coach Andi Adams was rightfully emotional after the game and praised her teams work ethic all season long. She says that the value of hard work has propelled the team to this level of success. She also says that the principle of hard work is translatable for anybody.
