Fort Dodge Softball lands Two On Gatorade State Player Of The Year Watchlist

Two Fort Dodge Softball standouts have garnered preseason nominations for the Gatorade State Player Of The Year Award. Senior Catcher TK Doster and Junior Pitcher Jalen Adams have been named to the preseason watch list. In 2020, Doster hit over .500 and was 2nd in the state in RBI’s and 4th in doubles. Adams hit nearly .600 , was 1st in the state in total hits and tied for 1st in doubles at the plate. In the circle, she won 20 games which was tied for 1st in Iowa and had 0.88 ERA. Both players were All-State selections in 2020. Doster has signed to play college softball at Iowa and Adams has verbally committed to Iowa as well.
