Several members of the Fort Dodge Girls Swim Team will be competing later this week at the State Meet. The Dodger swimmers got their by qualifying at the Regional Meet this past weekend. Sophomore standout Eileen Fierke won regional gold in two events to qualify. Senior Grace Hartley also qualified individually as did Makenna Kammerer who qualified in the 500 freestyle event. The Dodgers qualified in two relay events as well. Raegan Wooldridge, Rylie Steinkamp Claire Kienzle are members of the two relay groups along with Fierke and Hartley. The Dodgers qualified for a total of 6 events under Head Coach Ashley Beaumont. The State Meet will be in Marshalltown, the prelims are Friday and finals are Saturday.
