Foy Sentenced To 15 Years

28 year old Fort Dodge resident Blair Lynn Foy has been sentenced to prison for robbing a man at gun point in Wright County. Foy entered a guilty plea to charges of 1st degree attempted burglary and 2nd degree theft. Those charges stem from a Sept. 14th incident in which Foy pulled a gun on the victim and then took cash, a cell phone and car keys from him. Foy has been sentenced to a total of 15 years in prison.  As part of the plea deal charges of assault while participating in a felony, going armed with intent, possession of a firearm by a felon, and assault while displaying a weapon were dismissed.
