Fort Dodge Wrestling was back in action for the 1st time since the holiday break and won the Clear Lake Invitational on Saturday. The Dodgers were dominant scoring 296 team points, 2nd place finisher Charles City had just over 164. 9 Dodgers won titles in their respective weight classes including Max Bishop (106), Lane Cowell (113), Drake Ayala (120), Carson Taylor (126), Brooks Cowell (132), Dreyzon Phillips (138), Brandon Mills (145), Kody Cook (152), and Levi Egli (195). The Dodgers will be back in action Thursday at Waukee, then Saturday will compete in the “Beat The Streets” tournament in Chicago where the field includes nationally ranked teams from all over the United States.

St. Edmond was in action as they hosted duels on Saturday, the Gaels were shorthanded competing without standouts Ryan Duckett and Ronnie Orres. St. Edmond’s Elly Berry got her 1st win of the season over a male competitor, Berry has two prior 2nd place finishes in all girls tournaments this year. The Fort Dodge JV team competed in the duels and finished 2nd as a team going 4-1 on the day. Carter Forbes went 5-0 at 120 pounds.
