Gov. Reynolds On Healthcare PPE, Not Allowing Cities To Order Shelter In Place

At her Monday press conference Governor Kim Reynolds talked about the continued need around Iowa for PPE for healthcare workers. Reynolds says private sector manufacturing facilities are now helping with the need.

The Governor then called for help from Iowans to produce PPE.

Reynolds says Iowans are at their best during times of adversity.

Currently individual cities and counties do not have the authority to put a “shelter in place” order in motion, Reynolds was asked if she was considering delegating that authority.
