Governor Announces Closure Of Schools For The Rest Of This School Year

At her Friday press conference Governor Kim Reynolds addressed one of the biggest questions around the state.

Reynolds turned things over to Dept. Of Education Director Ann Lebo who talked about continuous learning opportunities.

Lebo says the Governor’s decision not only means a cancellation of spring sports but an expected upcoming announcement about summer sports also.

She says there is a possibility of a different start date for schools in the fall.

What does this mean as to whether kids will be promoted to the next grade or not?
