Governor Reynolds Addresses State Economy And More Friday

Governor Kim Reynolds held a press conference Friday afternoon addressing Covid-19 and the actions her office is taking. The Governor talked about what steps are being taken to try and help the statewide economy.

In an effort to help restaurants and bars Reynolds has approved the sale of drive thru, carry out and delivery alcohol.

Iowa Workforce Development Director Beth Townsend was on hand at the press conference and she says the number of unemployment claims coming in have skyrocketed.

The Governor went on to talk about establishing drive thru Covid-19 test facilities.
