A Greene County woman is facing multiple charges after police say he abandoned her vehicle last last week. The Iowa State Patrol says 62 year old, Shari Ann Allen of Grand Junction left her vehicle on railroad tracks there last Thursday night.

The vehicle was hit by a Union Pacific train. Reportedly, Allen drove onto the tracks and got stuck. Instead, of seeking help she left the vehicle there and went home. The train did suffer some damages in the incident.

The Carroll-Times Herald is reporting that Allen admitted to having two alcoholic beverages prior to the incident. She faces charges of driving while revoked and trespassing.
