High School Hoops Preview For Tuesday Night Feb. 2nd

Tuesday Night proves to be another night jam packed with high school hoops. The Alpha Media Fort Dodge stations has wall to wall basketball coverage, as three stations will air games Tuesday. St. Edmond will be in action on “Sunny” 99.7, as they host Webster City. St. Edmond’s Girls got their first win of the season at Webster City and tonight they are looking for their 1st two game sweep of the season. The St. Edmond boys can also get a season sweep of Webster City with a win. The Gaels are coming off a loss on Friday to Humboldt. St. Edmond is 6-2 this season when coming off a loss. KC Meiners will have the call of the action, Girls game slated to tip at 6:15 PM.

On 105-9 “The Beach”, South Central Calhoun is in action on the road taking on local rival Southeast Valley. The Titan Girls are coming off a bounce back win over West Bend-Mallard on Saturday. Riley Batta had a monster game Saturday with a game high 26. The Titan Boys have momentum as they have won 5 of their last 6. They are coming off after a win in convincing fashion on Saturday. They hit 20 3’s in that game and look to continue the hot shooting. Join Brian Peters tonight, Girls game scheduled to tip at 6 PM.

On “92 Rock”, Fort Dodge is on the road in the capital city to take on Des Moines-Lincoln. The Dodger Girls are coming off a hard fought loss at Ames on Friday. They got a road  win in their lone meeting last season with Lincoln. They’ll look to make it two in a row tonight. The Dodger boys are looking to break a losing skid that dates back to Dec. 22nd. Dodger Boys Coach Tom Daniel says he’s looking for competitive fire from his guys.
