Highway Traffic Stop In Nebraska Turns Up 770 Pounds Of Marijuana
A highway traffic stop in Nebraska on Wednesday, resulted in the discovery of 770 pounds of marijuana, Two men from California were stopped on I-80 near Seward, a town about 25 miles northwest of Lincoln.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, the cargo van they were driving was stopped for failure to signal. The officer who made the stop reported a pungent aroma of marijuana coming from the van. A search turned up a number of duffel bags full of marijuana.
The two Californian men were arrested but as of the time of this report, their identities had not been released.
