Humboldt Football Coach Derrick Elman On Mason City Win & 4-2 Season

Coach Derrick Elman and The Humboldt Wildcats are in a “renaissance” period, having a year where they are turning their program around. They were 2-7 last year and after a hard fought win in week 6 at Mason City they are sitting at 4-2. That win guarantees them a winning regular season regardless of their regular season finale in week 7 hosting Gilbert. Humboldt beat Mason City 21-14 and scored on two TD drives in the 4th after scoring just 7 points in the first 3 quarters.
