In October the Iowa DCI became involved and many interviews were conducted and search warrants issued for electrical devices and physical locations. As the investigation unfolded, videos, instant messages, and physical conduct between the two was discovered. The acts are alleged to have begun on or around June 2022 when the student was 14 years old.
