Humboldt Softball Coach Doug Van Pelt Previews Season

Expectations surrounding Humboldt Softball are always high. Coach Doug Van Pelt has created those expectations as he has led them to the State Tourney, three of the last four seasons. The Wildcats come into this year having to replace some major pieces to last year’s team that made it to the State Tournament. However, they have some solid returners include the heavy hitting Kendall Clark. Coach Van Pelt joined Rob Jones to talk about last year’s run, “reloading” instead of rebuilding, and about what he expects this season.  That Conversation is below.
