Rob Jones said ” I am very excited for the return of Coaches Corner. I always say Hy-Vee is the place to be on Saturday Mornings and I am excited to be back. Being a former coach, I know how much the season takes out of the coaches and that is why I like to provide breaks in terms of the show. That allows the coaches and I to be able to recharge. I want to thank the coaches around this area, they support this show incredibly. Their willingness to take the time during the season to be a part of it is much appreciated. It is something, I have a great appreciation for because of my background being a former coach. I enjoy the interaction with the coaches and aim to make the show conversational in nature while breaking down all the local happenings in high school sports. Hy-Vee has been an incredible partner and major factor in the success as well. I am just the steering wheel for the program, the coaches are the motor and Hy-Vee is the body of the vehicle. Tim, Mike and all the staff at Hy-Vee Fort Dodge are top flight and I couldn’t imagine another corporate partner for this venture. They have a great facility in terms of being the host venue, the Market Grill area is 1st class and the food is always on point. I know Hy-Vee takes great care of their customers because of how they take care of the coaches and I. It is very much in their DNA, it starts at the top and radiates through all of their staff.”
Coaches Corner is scheduled to air each Saturday throughout January and February at 9AM on 99.7. The show also can be heard heard streaming live here on our website.
