Identity Of Webster County’s 1st Covid-19 Related Death Revealed

The identity of Webster County’s 1st covid-19 victim has been revealed. 50 year old Brent Newton also known as Ben passed Wednesday after being in Intensive Care at Unity Point Health Fort Dodge. His wife of 33 years Jackie Newton is the initial Jamar’s employee who contracted the virus. The daughter of Ben and Jackie Newton had covid-19 prior to the couple contracting the virus. Mr. Newton was said to have underlying health issues. Jamar’s remains closed until May 20th and none of the 3 employees who tested positive for the virus are expected back to work in the near future.
