Iowa Basketball Impressive In Win At Ohio State

In a game heard Sunday on “Iowa’s Favorite Country” K97, Iowa Basketball had an impressive road win 73057 at Ohio State. The Hawks started strong scoring 42 in the 1st half and led by 14 at the break. Iowa played nearly mistake free, as they turned it over just 5 times. The Hawks shared the ball well as they assisted 19 times on 29 made field goals. Iowa was plus 8 in turnover margin and allowed OSU just two offensive boards in the game.
Ohio State had 3 in double figures, they got a team high 15 from EJ Liddell. Justice Sueing had a dozen, and CJ Walker had 10 points with 4 assists. Luka Garza led Iowa, a double-double for “Garzilla ” 24 points and 11 boards. Joe Weiskamp added 19, Keegan Murray was efficient off the bench as he added 8 points and 5 boards in just over 20 minutes. Hawkeyes are now 18-7 with two regular season games to go.
Iowa will finish the regular season out this week, they host Nebraska on Thursday and Wisconsin on Sunday. According to NCAA tournament projections, the Hawkeyes could garner as high as a 2 seed if they win out.
