Iowa Central Breaks Team HR Record, Schnetzer Breaks Individual HR Record

Iowa Central Softball had a record setting weekend, despite dropping both games of Saturday’s double header against Kirkwood.

The Tritons broke their existing single season team home run record. Former Fort Dodge standout, Loghen Schnetzer continued her incredible freshman campaign. She broke the single season individual home run record, she homered for the 25th time this year surpassing the previous record of 24.

Schnetzer was an All State performer for Fort Dodge Senior High and holds the programs career home run record. She has been named ICCAC Conference Player Of The Week Twice already this season.

After Saturday, the Tritons are 30-24 overall and 24-16 in conference play. They’ll finish the regular season with Indian Hills on Wednesday.
