Iowa Central Faces Tall Order Saturday Hosting 2nd Ranked Snow

Iowa Central Football is back in action this weekend and they have a tall order in front of them. The Tritons host Snow College (Utah) on Saturday. Snow comes in 6-0 and ranked #2 in the country in the NJCAA. The Tritons are ranked 10th, at 3-2 on the season. Both of Iowa Central’s losses came to 5th ranked Iowa Western.

Iowa Central is coming off a bye week, they fell their last time out 37-14 at Iowa Western. They’ll look to shake off that loss and the turnovers issued that plagued them in Council Bluffs, two weeks ago.

Snow opened their season with a 1 point win in a thriller at Iowa Western. Since then, they have steamrolled their opponents by an average of nearly 40 points per game. Their defense has allowed less than 20 points in every game except the season opener.

Iowa Central has a chance to get a home win over a top 5 ranked opponent for the 2nd straight season. The Tritons and Badgers will square off at Dodger Stadium off for a noon kick.
