Iowa Central Women’s Basketball rolled in Region Tournament play on Tuesday night. The Triton Women had no trouble as they cruised past Southeastern 68-46.
Iowa Central came out of the gate strong and set the tone. They took an 18-5 lead after the 1st and extended the lead in the 2nd to take a 36-15 advantage into the halftime locker room.
The Tritons had a balanced effort with 3 players scoring in double figures. Isabell West had another masterful performance, she led the way with a game high 24 points and 13 boards. Nevaeh Galloway added a baker’s dozen and Autumn Dykstra had 12.
Iowa Central will advance to the Regional Finals on Saturday. They’ll travel to Boone to take on DMACC. It’ll be the “rubber game” in the series, as the two split the pair of regular season meetings.
