Iowa PBS To Air Korean War Special In Late June

Iowa PBs will be airing a broadcast special in late June. The Forgotten War: Iowans in Korea will premiere June 22nd at 8 PM. The special will share stories of Iowans who fought in Korea and will share their battlefield experiences. Iowa PBS Senior Producer David Miller said ” It has been an honor to capture the history of Iowans who fought on the front lines in Korea. During the interviews their was both alughter and tears as these men spoke of their service some 70 years ago”. In addition to being broadcast statewide the special will be available on demand at IowaPBS.org and on the Iowa PBS Youtube channel.
