Many Iowans will be making road trips to see family and friends this Thanksgiving week and they’re being reminded to obey the rules of the road, like driving sober, buckling up and keeping your eyes on the road.

Iowa State Patrol Trooper Paul Gardner says 50-million people are expected to be traveling this holiday weekend, with the Wednesday before and the Sunday after typically the busiest travel days.
