Iowa State Players Talk About High Expectations For Coming Season

Iowa State coach Matt Campbell says the next step may be the toughest. Campbell has turned around a Cyclone program that went from 3-9 in 2016 to 9-3 this past season, including a Fiesta Bowl win. ISU is considered by some pundits to be a contender for College Football Playoff heading into this season. Brock Purdy will be in his 4th season as the starting QB for ISU and he says its fun to see their program have this level of expectations.

All Big-12 receiver Xavier Hutchinson led the Cyclones with 64 catches in 2020 and he says he’s not concerned about the program’s ability to handle success.

Senior O-Lineman Sean Foster has seen the level of talent and confidence grow during his time in the program.
