Iowa State Women Fall In Overtime Thriller To Texas A&M

Iowa State Women’s Basketball dropped a heart breaker in overtime Wednesday night to Texas A&M in the NCAA Tournament. The Cyclones led almost the entire game before being beat at the buzzer.

ISU came out firing and led 22-12 after the 1st quarter. A&M took the 2nd quarter 18-13, but ISU led by 5 at the half. A 22-18 advantage in the 3rd gave Iowa State a 57-48 lead after 3 quarters. Texas A&M came roaring outscoring Iowa St. 27-18 in the 4th to tie the game at 75 at the end of regulation.

It would be back and forth in OT with the game tied at 82, Texas A&M would have the ball in the closing seconds.

The Cyclones finish their season with a record of 17-11.
