ISU Athletic Director Jamie Pollard Speaks On Steve Prohm Firing

Iowa State athletic director Jamie Pollard released a video statement after the firing of Cyclone basketball coach Steve Prohm on Monday Night.

 

Prohm spent six seasons at the helm and started strong, however, the program dipped late in his tenure. As Prohm  had losing campaigns in three of his last 4 seasons. Pollard says he met with Prohm several times over the past few weeks to discuss the future.

 

Pollard says he’s looking for the right fit for the program in the new hire.

The comments from Jamie Pollard are courtesy of the Iowa State Athletic Dept. Prohm was let go after Iowa State went 2-22 this season and went winless in the Big 12.
