Judd Gibb Makes History At Senior PGA Event In Omaha

Fort Dodge Native Judd Gibb made history over the weekend. Gibb became the first Fort Dodge area golfer to ever make the cut at a major event on the PGA or PGA Senior Tour. He competed at the Senior PGA Open in Omaha.

Gibb shot rounds of 72 on Thursday, 71 Friday, 76 on Saturday and 77 in the Open’s final round Sunday. His Sunday round was 7 over and finished the event at 16 over.

Gibb make the cut at the event, notable names that did not make the cut included Jose Maria Olzabal, Phillip Price and Corey Pavin.
