Large Amounts Of Marijuana And Cash Seized After Traffic Stop In Buena Vista County

Multiple people were arrested in Buena Vista County last weekend, when over 25 pounds of marijuana and over $65,000 cash was seized. Last Friday, The Storm Lake Police Dept. executed a traffic stop on a vehicle. A search of the vehicle of the vehicle turned up 27 pounds of marijuana and $67,000 cash.

Three people from Storm Lake were arrested in connection with the seizure and two children were in the vehicle at the time. 22 year old, Nang Khang faces charges of child endangerment, failure to affix a drug stamp and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, among other charges. 19 year old, Ka Ying Vang faces the same charges.

39 year old, Daniel Khang faces the same charges, except he was not charged for child endangerment.

The two children were placed in the care of the Iowa DHS.
