Local Doctor Has Confidence In Covid-19 Vaccine

In recent weeks, there has been much talk about the Covid-19 vaccine. Their are those question the safety of the vaccine. Dr. Michael Willerth, Chief Medical Officer at Unity Point Fort Dodge, says he has confidence in the vaccine given the trials it has been put through.

Dr. Willerth says the vaccine did receive emergency use authorization from the FDA.

He would go on to talk about the covid-19 vaccine.

All allocations of the vaccine will be made available only through Webster County Health Department and that we will let residents know when our next allocation is available so that Phase 1B eligible residents can make appointments. Please do not call Webster County Health Department or Unity Point Health for appointment times as they are not available currently as we are still awaiting delivery of our vaccine allocation.
