A group of local kids are stepping up to make a difference. For the last two years, 10 year old Parker, his 9 year old sister Paisley, and their friend 9 year old Zion, all of Fort Dodge have teamed yo to run a lemonade stand. In 2020, through the lemonade stand they raised almost $500 in donations for Almost Home Humane Society.

Parker and Paisley are the children of Chelsea Webb and Zion is the son of Tara Cooper. Webb and Cooper are long time employees at Sneakers Eatery & Pub in Fort Dodge.

Last year, Sneakers owner Dan Billingsley was so impressed by the effort of the kids, he matched the funds they raised.

Last week, the kids were back at it again running their lemonade stand. This year they have decided to donate the funds to, two regulars at Sneakers who are going through major medical hardshiip.

The lemonade stand last week raised over $1,600 and Billingsley says he will matching the donations again this year. Donations are still being accepted at Sneakers.
