Local Legislators Sound Off At “Eggs And Issues”

The first “Eggs And Issues” of 2020 took place this past weekend here in Fort Dodge. Several local legislators were there to answer questions from those in attendance. Representative Mike Sexton of Rockwell City responded to issues brought up regarding hog confinements.

Senator Tim Kraayenbrink said that mental healthcare was a hot topic during the event.

Representative Ann Meyer talked about the proposal for an access center here in Fort Dodge and she explained what that access center would provide.

Meyer says she is working diligently on getting the access center here.

“Eggs and Issues” was held on campus at Iowa Central.
