Local Man Arrested For Alleged Jewelry Thefts At The Fort Dodge Wal-Mart

A Farnhamville man has been arrested on multiple charges stemming from burglary incidents at the Fort Dodge Wal-Mart.

In the early morning hours of May 27th, police responded to a call that a man had broken the Wal-Mart jewelry case, stole merchandise and fled the scene. The same thing happened around 4:30 AM on July 11th.  An investigation led to search warrants which turned up stolen items.

35 year old, Joseph Midkiff on Farnhamville was arrested on charges in connection with those incidents on Thursday.

He’s charged with two counts of 2nd degree burglary, two counts of 1st degree theft and two counts of 2nd degree criminal mischief.
