Man Found Dead Near Madrid Saturday Has Been Identified

The identity of a man that was found dead near Madrid over the weekend has now been released. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office says the body of 21 year old Michael English of Cedar Rapids was discovered Saturday. English was found under the High Trestle Trail Bridge and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities in Boone County say his death is still under investigation. They have not yet determined the cause of death.
