Manson NW Webster Suspends Football Program Amid Covid-19 Concerns

Last week Manson NW Wbetser didn’t dress or travel any of their JV players for the Varsity game Friday Night at Pocahontas Area. The JV team was under quarantine due to covid-19 exposure. On Monday, the announcement was made that the Varsity program would be suspended two weeks due to covid-19 issues. Head Coach Marty Hart confirmed in an email Monday Morning that a member of the coaching staff had tested positive for the virus, thus resulting in the suspension of football for two weeks. With that two week suspension Manson NW Webster will lose their week 3 game this week at Alta-Aurelia and their week 4 match up at North Union. Those games will not be made up per IAHSAA policy. Manson NW Webster football hopes to return Friday Sept. 25th at St. Edmond.
