A mask mandate is in effect in Wright County. The Board Of Health in Wright County issued the mandate Tuesday to combat rising covid-19 numbers. The county will now require masks in any indoor public space. Masks can be removed while eating in public but only if the unmasked person keeps appropriate social distancing from other groups of people. Public gatherings in Wright County, will now be limited to 10 people unless appropriate social distancing and mask compliance can be carried out. The ordinance calls for spectators at extracurricular school activities to wear a mask at all times. Only parents will be allowed as spectators. Police in Wright County will be checking restaurants and bars periodically to ensure compliance. The Wright County Board Of Health says they will be re-evaluating the mandate in the upcoming future.
