Minnesota Man Sentenced

A 51-YEAR-OLD MINNESOTA MAN WAS SENTENCED RECENTLY IN IOWA DISTRICT COURT ON CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OFFENCES.  TERRANCE NORDWALL OF FARIBAULT, MINNESOTA, WAS SENTENCED FOLLOWING A GUILTY VERDICT IN OCTOBER 2019 TO CHARGES OF SEX TRAFFICKING OF CHILDREN, ATTEMPTED ENTICEMENT OF MINORS, AND TRAVEL WITH INTENT TO ENGAGE IN ILLICIT SEXUAL CONDUCT.  NORDWALL EXCHANGED TEXT MESSAGE IN THE SPRING OF 2019 WITH A MAN HE BELIEVED HAD A 14-YEAR-OLD AND 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL AVAILABLE.  THE MAN WAS ACTUALLY AN UNDERCOVER LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.  NORDWALL AGREED TO PAY $200 FOR A HALF HOUR WITH THE TWO GIRLS AND DROVE TO IOWA WHERE HE MET LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.  HE HAS PREVIOUS CHARGES REGARDING CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT AND POSSESSION OF PORNOGRAPHIC WORK INVOLVING MINORS.  NORDWALL WAS SENTENCED TO 27 YEARS IN PRISON AND WILL HAVE TO SERVE FIVE YEARS OF SUPERVISED RELEASE FOLLOWING HIS TERM.  HE WILL ALSO HAVE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER AND COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS.
