New Chapter for Long Time Fort Dodge Lounge

A new chapter is beginning for a local bar that was home to fun, music and of course karaoke.

Last month, the bar which has been known as Crickets Lounge was sold.

According to the Webster County Assessor’s Office website, the building had been owned by Earlene Metzger since 2006 and before that it was home to La James College of Hairstyling.

Through the years, the bar has been home to parties, gatherings and a host of other events for people in the community.

The new owner, BCJ Entertainment, told Alpha Media News that the first floor will remain a bar and restaurant and will reopen with a new look and new name along with its new ownership.
