New Details On Monday Morning Bank Robbery

The Fort Dodge Police Dept. has released new details regarding the Monday morning robbery at Green State Credit Union ( formerly First American Bank ) on Central Ave in Fort Dodge. After entering the building the suspect allegedly displayed a knife. The suspect then fled on foot, the caller was able to give a detailed description of the suspect. Shortly after that police found and arrested the suspect 29 year old Fort Dodge resident Ted Hammersley. He is charged with 1st degree Robbery, Going Armed With Intent, Assault While Participating In A Felony, and Carrying Weapons. Hammersley is currently being held at the Webster County Jail and his intial court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday March 3rd at 9 AM.
