New Details Released Regarding Tuesday’s Fatal Crash

Two Children were killed and others were hurt when a minivan crashed near Jamaica (Iowa) Tuesday morning. The Iowa State Patrol has released a statement that the vehicle was being driven by a 16-year-old and it crashed near Jamaica. Those who died were five and eight years old, while the driver and three other young passengers were seriously hurt. The patrol says the vehicle slipped off the pavement, the driver then over-corrected, went off the road and wrecked. Troopers say only two of the six of the vehicle’s occupants were wearing seat belts. The names of those involved had not been released as of the time of this report.
